Boise State University is a state university located in downtown Boise, the capital city of Idaho. The school's athletic teams are called the Broncos. Over 18,000 full and part-time students enroll annually. Approximately 200 degrees are offered from Technical certificates to Doctorates. It is regionally accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.

Facilities

The 153-acre main campus is located in downtown Boise, on the Boise River. There are 60 buildings on the main campus. These buildings include the Bronco Stadium (capacity 30,000), the Pavilion (12,000), and the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts (2,000).

Recently the Canyon County Center in Nampa began operations. This satellite campus facility specializes in applied technology programs as well as some academic and non-credit courses. Additional education centers can be found at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Gowen Field and Twin Falls.

Broadcast

BSU Radio is broadcast from the Boise State campus. Stations include NPRNews91, KBSU, KBSW and Idaho's Jazz Station.
