Robert Edward Russell (born 31 March 1946) is a British politician. Known to his constituents as "Bob". He has been Liberal Democrat member of Parliament member of Parliament for Colchester since 1997 (re-elected 2001).
Bob was previously a member of the SDP and the Labour Party. As a member of the Labour Party, Bob ran unsuccessfully for Parliament in 1979.
