Blue Sky



         


Blue Sky is a 1994 film which tells the story of a soldier whose outspokenness and his wife's mental difficulties have made him a pariah to the army.

The movie was adapted by Rama Laurie Stagner, Arlene Sarner and Jerry Leichtling from a story by Rama Laurie Stagner. It was directed by Tony Richardson.

It stars Jessica Lange, Tommy Lee Jones, Powers Boothe, Carrie Snodgress, Amy Locane and Chris O'Donnell.

Jessica Lange won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the film.

The movie was completed in 1991, but due to a bankruptcy by the original studio, it sat on the shelf until 1994.
