Black metal fashion
Black metal fashion refers to the style of dress preferred by listeners of black metal music. Clothing is black accessorized with silver jewelry, including pentacles, Thor's hammers and inverted crosses. There tends to be also a focus on spikes on leather, often worn on the wrists. Males affect a rugged, long-haired look, while females attempt to look both attractive and dangerous. Black Metal Fashion is essentially Gothic fashion with a more Vampyric look. It is important to note that this does not mean that Black metal is necessarily linked to the Vampyre/Vampire subculture, and that it is not, in any way, linked to the Gothic rock movement.
