Berthillon

The Maison Berthillon is a famous traditional artisanal, high-end ice cream manufacturer located in the Saint Louis Island, Paris, France. It has become an icon of the island.

Berthillon sells its ice cream in bulk from its shop on the island, but some other retailers (generally high-end grocery stores) also sell it. In addition to Berthillon itself, many other retailers on and around Saint Louis Island sell cones and cups.

Berthillon only uses natural products, with the exclusion of chemical preservatives, edulcorants or acidifiers. Ice creams are made from milk, cream and eggs. Flavouring is also made from vegetal products (cocoa, vanilla...).

Berthillon's ice creams are known for their very strong flavor.
