Bernard Maybeck



         


Bernard Ralph Maybeck (1862-1957) was a prominent architect in the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th Century. Many of his buildings, which were characterized by the decorative use of functional elements such as wooden support beams and joints, still stand in his long-time home city of Berkeley, California.
