Bedford, Nova Scotia

Bedford is a town in Nova Scotia. It lies on the Bedford Basin, a body of water that is part of the harbour that Halifax and Dartmouth also lie on. Bedford is to all intents and purposes a commuter suburb of Halifax, and since 1996, Halifax, Dartmouth and Bedford have been amalgamated into a single city, known as the Halifax Regional Municipality.
