Becky Blasband (born 1967, in New Hope, Pennsylvania) is a singer and songwriter who gained notoriety as one of the original cast members of television reality show The Real World.
Blasband had a controversial and widely known romance with the show's director, Bill Richmond. This enraged the show's producers, and Richmond was subsequently fired, as it is a rule that off-camera personnel could not get involved with on-camera members of The Real Worlds production.
Blasband has had mixed success as a singer since her Real World stint, which took her to New York, New York (where season one of the series was taped). She has acted on Off Broadway productions, and, in 2001, she released a hip hop CD titled Million Dollar Move, which sold modestly.
In a 2001 interview with People magazine, she said that music is my husband, acting is my mistress, and she described herself as a naughty girl with a heart of gold.
