This article is about the bombing raids of the Royal Air Force and the USAAF Eighth Air Force on Berlin. For the assault and capture of Berlin by forces of the Soviet Union and Poland in 1945, see Battle of Berlin.

The Battle of Berlin is somtimes restricted to the Royal Air Force for a bombing camapig on Berlin between November 1943 and March 1944. Bombomber Command organised sixteen major attacks on the German capital. During these attacks the RAF destroyed over 6,000 acres (24 km²) and lost 300 aircraft.
