Batatinha

"Batatinha", or António Melo (real name) (1957 - ) is a famous Portuguese clown.

He now has a daily show on Portuguese TV station TVI called Batatoon.

In the early years of his career he worked with another famous Portuguese clown named Croquete and since their separation has worked with Companhia.

Had a show on Portuguese national television (RTP) called Vamos ao Circo with Companhia.

In 2003 Batatinha and Companhia parted away. Since then Batatinha has been working with no partner.
