Bart Gordon

Barton Jennings "Bart" Gordon (b. January 24, 1949) is a politician from the U.S. State of Tennessee.

Gordon was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. Gordon was the state chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party. He won a seat in the House of Representatives in 1984. He has favored the repeal of the Inheritance tax and the Marriage penalty. Gordon's closest re-election race was in 1994. Gordon was re-elected by a large margin in 2002.
