Barking station



         


Barking station is located in Barking and is served by London Underground District and Hammersmith and City lines and is also served by c2c and Silverlink train services. It is in Zone 4.

The station was opened in 1854 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway and the electrified District Line service reached Barking in 1908.

On the London Underground Barking is between East Ham and Upney and is the eastern terminus of the Hammersmith & City line. On the c2c route Barking is between West Ham and Upminster or Dagenham Dock. On the Silverlink route Barking is the eastern terminus of the Gospel Oak to Barking line and the next station along is Woodgrange Park.

Barking station is managed by c2c.
