B-52 (hairstyle)



         


The B-52 was a large beehive hairstyle popular in the 1950s and 1960s. It was named after the distinctive nose cone of the B-52 Stratofortress. The rock band The B-52's was named for the hairstyle, not the long range strategic bomber.
