Australian Soccer Association

The Australian Soccer Association, formerly Soccer Australia, is the governing body for the sport of soccer in Australia.

Amongst other duties, it oversees the National Soccer League and Australia's national soccer team, the Socceroos. It also co-ordinates various state soccer competitions.

The ASA was formed in 2003(?), after the gradual collapse of the previous soccer governing body, Soccer Australia, through incompetence, infighting, and allegations of low-level corruption. An independent inquiry, established by the Australian federal government, recommended the reconstitution of the body with an interim independent board, to be headed by billionaire property developer Football Associations of Oceania (OFC) |- |align=center| American Samoa | Australia | Cook Islands | Fiji | New Caledonia | New Zealand | Papua New Guinea | Samoa | Solomon Islands | Tahiti | Tonga | Vanuatu |}
