Audubon Ballroom



         


The Audubon Ballroom is most notoriously known for being the location where Malcom X was assassinated in 1965. It was a ballroom adjacent to a theatre located at Broadway and 166th St. in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City, a diverse neighborhood north of Harlem, on the island of Manhattan.
