Atyrau

Atyrau is the capital of the Atyrau Oblysy in Kazakhstan. It is Kazakhstan's main harbor city on the Caspian Sea at the delta of the Ural River. It has about 200,000 inhabitants. Until 1992 its name was Guriev.
