Attitude (psychology)

This article is about the psychological term attitude. For other meanings, see attitude

Attitude is a key concept in social psychology. Attitudes are relatively enduring views on people, behaviour, or events. Unlike personality, attitudes are expected to change as a function of experience, and there are numerous theories of Dissonance-reduction theory, associated with Leon Festinger

The major debate in the theory of attitude change is whether attitude change causes behaviour change or vice versa.
