Argyllshire is one of the traditional counties of Scotland. It covers the council area Argyll and Bute except for the Isle of Bute itself and the area to the south of Loch Lomond which is part of Dunbartonshire. In addition, Morvern, north of the isle of Mull is also part of the county.
