Andrew Morton



         


Linux kernel developer. He became the maintainer of the 2.6 kernel after Linus Torvalds released the first stable version on December 17, 2003. He is employed by OSDL, along with Torvalds.

Morton is one of the top echelon Linux developers who rejected the use of BitKeeper, which is proprietary software.
