An Affair to Remember

An Affair to Remember is a 1957 movie.

Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr star as a couple who meet on an ocean liner and promise to meet again in six months at the Empire State Building if they are still in love with each other.

It was directed by Leo McCarey and was a remake of McCarey?s 1939 film Love Affair. The film Sleepless in Seattle was inspired by An Affair to Remember, with Seattle?s Space Needle in place of the Empire State Building, and clips from An Affair to Remember appear throughout.
