Amon Hen

In Tolkien's Middle-earth, Amon Hen was the Hill of Sight, towering over Anduin and the Falls of Rauros. It marked the northern boundary of Gondor. Since the early Third Age, it served as a watchtower, for which purpose a seat was constructed there.

The Company of the Ring visited Amon Hen after having travelled down the Anduin, and it was here that it broke up as a result of Boromir's greed, with Frodo going with Sam east to Mordor.
