Alfons Maria Jakob



         


Alfons Maria Jakob (July 2, 1884 - October 17, 1931) was a German neurologist. He was the first to recognize and describe Alper's disease and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (the latter with Hans Gerhard Creutzfeldt) and helped greatly in the description of various other neurological illnesses.
