The Alaska Time Zone is a Time Zone located west of the Pacific Time Zone. It includes all of the state of Alaska, except for the Aleutian Islands west of 169ยบ W. The western Aleutians observe Hawaii-Aleutian Time, one hour behind the remainder of the state.
