Alakazam is a Psychic-type Pokémon. It is number 65 in the National Pokédex. Similar in color and appearance to its two previous evolutions, Abra and Kadabra, it is a sort of light brown, has a catlike appearance, and is always seen holding two silver spoons.
Alakazam can only be evolved when traded with another player/trainer. It will evolve immediately after being recieved as a Kadabra.
Alakazam is a common word in magicians' parlance.
Alakazam's Japanese name, フーディン (Fūdin), is a reference to either the french magician Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin or his namesake, Harry Houdini.
