Alain Glavieux is a French professor in electrical engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne who is the coinventor with Claude Berrou of a groundbreaking coding scheme called turbo codes.
He received in 2003 the IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal.
