Agnostic atheism is the position that holds both atheism and agnosticism to be true. A person holding such a position does not believe that any God or gods exist, and also that it is impossible to prove or disprove this position.
It should be noted that atheism and agnosticism are not necessarily synonymous; it is possible for an agnostic to also be a theist, an atheist, or to hold that neither is necessarily true.
