Adobe Audition is a digital audio editor computer program from Adobe Systems. Adobe purchased the software known as Cool Edit from Syntrillium Software in May 2003. Adobe renamed it Adobe Audition and released it on August 18.
While the first version of Audition was basically Cool Edit Pro under a different name, version 1.5 was recently released with usablity software improvements made by Adobe.
