Adam Foote



         


Adam Foote (born July 10, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

Foote was drafted 22nd overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. He played for Quebec for 4 seasons until the franchise moved to Colorado (and became the Colorado Avalanche), where he has played for the last nine seasons. He has won two Stanley Cups (1996, 2001) and has won an olympic gold medal for Canada at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
