Biography

Raymond Hood (1881-1934) was an early-mid twentieth century architect who worked in the Art Deco style. He was educated at MIT and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Hood frequently employed the services of architectural sculptor Rene Paul Chambellan to create both sculpture for his building and to make plaster models of his projects.
