Planet of Adventure

Planet of Adventure is a four-book series of science fiction novels by Jack Vance, which cumulatively relate the adventures of one Adam Reith after being shot down over a planet his ship was surveying.

The planet is occupied by humans, but they are subjected to four alien species who have occupied the planet and divided it among themselves. Each of the four novels relates Reith's adventures with one of the species, and is named after that species. In order, the books are:
