Morgan Chu is an influential Asian-American lawyer from southern California. He is a managing partner of Irell & Manella LLP.
Chu is known for his expertise in intellectual property law and for multi-million dollar verdicts in the cases of City of Hope v. Genentech and Stac Electronics v. Microsoft.
Morgan Chu's older brother is Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Chu.
