The Millennium Democratic Party is a political party of South Korea. President Roh Moo-hyun was elected as the party's candidate, but he subsequently left the party and his supporters formed the Uri Party. It lost popularity when it impeached the president with the support from the Grand National Party, and gained only 9 seats in 2004 parliamentary election.
