March of the Pigs

March of the Pigs, released (on February 24th, 1994) was a promotional item for the upcoming Nine Inch Nails album The Downward Spiral, was a short disc of two Reznor/Flood remixes of the title song, two remixes of the track Reptile that were given heavy-handed treatment by Dave Ogilvie, and a puzzling little instrumental called "A Violet Fluid".

The single was also released in limited edition 45 RPM vinyl bearing only "March of the Pigs" and "A Violet Fluid" on side A, with side B showing a detailed engraving of a rolled-up pillbug, later to be known as the same basic image used on the disc The Downward Spiral. It was also eventually split up into a two-disc set like other NIN remix releases.
