The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is a London borough in southwest London. Unusually for a London borough, it straddles the River Thames. It is home to Bushy Park and the National Physical Laboratory.

The borough was formed in 1965 by the merger of the Middlesex borough of Twickenham with the Surrey boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Barnes.
