Laziness is often considered a negative quality (see Seven deadly sins), as being unproductive.

Apathy can sometimes be mistaken for Laziness.
Intellectual laziness is a specific form, the tendancy not to ask questions, and not to scratch too much behind the apparent, applying a kind of mental routine (availibility heuristic) or just following the crowd (herding)
Some people feel unable to relax and do nothing; they always worry about not using time for something useful. This is often associated with general anxiety disorder.
