Clifford Price, better known as Goldie (born December 28, 1965) is a British electronic music artist who works mainly within the jungle and drum'n'bass genres, and helped to make these styles more well known around the world. His first well-known track was Terminator in 1993. His first globally released album, "Timeless", followed two years later. The album fused the breakbeats and reggae flavored rapping common in jungle with a heavier bassline and soulful female vocals. The album's title track was a 21-minute symphonic piece. "Inner City Life" from that album sold over 15,000 copies on vinyl. With his reputation firmly established, he released his sophomore album in 1998, Saturnzreturn. The album's opening track, "Mother" is also 60-minute orchestral/drum-n-bass piece. The remainder of the album, features appearances by David Bowie, Noel Gallagher of Oasis, and KRS-One.
