Engineers Without Borders (Canada) (abbreviated EWB; in French, Ingénieurs sans frontières) is a Non-governmental organization devoted to international development (see also Engineers Without Borders for similar organizations worldwide).
Engineers Without Borders was founded in 2000 by George Roter and Parker Mitchell. It is a registered Canadian Charity.
Its mission is "to promote human development through access to technology".
It is a fast-growing organization. As of 2004 there are more than 20 chapters and more than 6000 members across the country. The members are primarily engineering students.
