David Bronconnier
David Bronconnier is a Canadian politician, currently serving as mayor of Calgary. Bronconnier served on Calgary's city council for several terms before narrowly winning the mayoralty race of 2001. Since then, his ratings have been mixed. Although he has generally been an average mayor, his unusually venomous remarks about other council members and opposition figures have raised eyebrows. Bronconnier is running for re-election in 2004. He is a member of the Liberal Party.
