A corn chip is a snack food of which maize corn is the main ingredient. They are (traditionally) chips made from corn, oil, salt and boiling water. They originated in Mexico.

Corn chips can be cooked and used in a variety of ways, you can have it in a 'Nacho' form, where the corn chips are creatively piled together with a topping of sour cream, salsa dip, melted cheese and guacomole. Corn chips are also a great social barrier-breaker. They loosen the mood with a crunch and taste nice - on their own or with a dip.
