Brothers in Arms is a Dire Straits album which was released in 1985 (see 1985 in music). It was one of the first albums to be released on CD, but it was also released on vinyl. The album was recorded at Air Studios, Montserrat, West Indies; Air Studios, London; and Power Station in New York City from November 1984 to March 1985. The album has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
