Apollyon (Greek language: "The Destroyer") appears in the Bible's New Testament (Book of Revelation 9:11) and is the name given to the King of the Hosts represented by the locusts. In Hebrew language, Apollyon is known as Abaddon. The term is often associated with The Devil and is used as an alternative name for him.
