Apartment 3-G is a comic strip about a trio of working women created by Nicholas P. Dallis which debuted on May 8, 1961.
The roommates are brunette Margo Magee, a talent agent, Tommy Thompson, a redhead who started out a nurse, Lu Ann Powers, a blonde teacher and widow of a US Air Force pilot. Their kindly neighbor Professor Aristotle Papagoras serves as a father figure.
Dr. Dallis, formerly a psychiatrist, also created the soap opera comic strips Rex Morgan, M.D. and Judge Parker. The strip's first artist was Alex Kotzky, who drew in a photorealistic style. After Dallis died in 1991, he wrote the strip as well until his own death in 1996.
