Ahlus Sunnah wal-Jamaa'h: This means "the adherents to the Sunnah and the assembly" and refers to those Muslims who follow that Way which the Prophet Muhammad and his Companions followed.
These adherents are called the jamaa'h (the assembly or group) because they have assembled together and have not become divided among themselves.
Sunnis refer to themselves by this term.
