A.M.

A.M. is most commonly used to mean the first 12 hours of the chronological day, from midnight (12 a.m.) to an instant before noon. It stands for ante meridiem, Latin for "before noon".

P.M. stands for "post meridian," or "after noon." By convention, 12 a.m. is midnight and 12 p.m. is noon, although technically midnight is both a.m. and p.m. (it is 12 hours before and after noon), while noon is neither.

A.M. is the title of the first album by American rock band Wilco, released March 28, 1995.
