The 2010 Winter Paralympics will be held in the area surrounding Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This includes Burnaby and Whistler.
2010 will be the second time Canada has hosted the Paralympics, this includes the 1976 Summer Paralympics in Toronto.
Vancouver sees the 2010 games (Olympics and Paralympics) as a chance to build on its world prestige that started with the 1986 World's Fair.
