1989 Quebec election

In the Quebec general election on September 25, 1989, the incumbent Quebec Liberal Party under Robert Bourassa won re-election, defeating the Parti Québécois under Pierre-Marc Johnson.

This election was notable for the arrival of the Equality Party, which won four seats (but never had any similar success in any subsequent election).
