The term White Pride is often associated with the 14 words (by David Lane): "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children." It is a movement and concept within the politically active racialist community. Particularly associated with Stormfront, but also used by many other separatist or supremacist groups, the term intends a separation and distancing between those who use it, and the term "racist". In this sense, it is largely a propaganda technique, since many who are unanimously viewed as racist or neo-nazi (Hammerskin Nation or KKK members for example) associate with White pride organizations and communities.
The codeword 14/88 is popular in some circles, with the 88 referring to the eighth letter in the alphabet, "H", to (not so) “secretly” represent "Heil Hitler".
